Day by Day Through Lent: Day Thirty-three

Come out!"

The season of Lent will come to a close one week from today, on Holy Thursday. Our prayer, our fasting, and our acts of charity have brought about some changes in us, we hope. That was the point, after all! Lent is a time to make changes, or more specifically, to ask the Lord to change whatever it is in us that needs changing! The Prayer of Saint Francis captures this idea: We can bring change into our world (hatred to love, sadness to joy, doubt to faith, etc.) by allowing God to change our hearts, our minds, and our spirits. Pray with Saint Francis today by reflecting on his well-known prayer, as sung by John Michael Talbot. Click the image of Saint Francis:
